It's a very minor thing and they are basically interchangeable but when people use Daylight/Standard time incorrectly it grinds my gears.

"The meeting is set for 9am CST next week"

NO, we are currently in CDT and have been since March. We will be in CST in November.

in my entire life i have never seen "CDT"

Honestly my peeve is even the existence of CST or CDT. I always cut out the middle letter. I don’t correspond with people that insist on living in their own personal timezone.

I have no problem with people say "Central" or CT....But if you are going to put CDT or CST in the description please know the difference.

When you’re walking into somewhere that has a line, you hold the door open for the person behind you, they don’t/barely acknowledge you, and go straight to the line & get in line in front of you.

People (especially people older than 25yo) who loudly rev engines in residential areas. If you are at the demolition derby or Kansas Speedway, great, go for it.
Why would you make a really loud noise outside of someone's domicile that serves no purpose whatsoever?

I didn't even know the difference until now. I think I just always went with CST, unless I recently saw CDT somewhere.

Agreed. Although I would still be peeved if they acknowledged me if they were getting in line before me.

Actually, I think that’s worse. They know you did something nice & still got in front of you.

Holy crap this. Really could go for any car/vehicle modified to be louder than normal. Probably signs of getting old but I abhor hearing a revving or just loud engine in any place where it's a neighborhood or where the speed limit is less than 40 mph. Just subjecting everyone to noise.

Explain how it is different than standing out in my yard screaming at me?

i’m sure this has been mentioned a million times already, but referring to your kids as “kiddos”

i’m not saying that calling your own child “kiddo” to their own faces is bad.

I mean when someone asks you if you have any kiddos, or whatever

“Services” where the person does a job you could do for yourself more conveniently, like a valet or bellhop.

Ha, reminds me of the states where it is/used to be illegal to pump your own gas. I was talking with some people from NJ about this and they freaked out at the idea of doing it. Basically saying they weren't trained to do it and were afraid of blowing themselves up. They lived in the burbs and I asked if they mowed their own grass and if someone came to their house to put the gas in the mowers.
