It's like you people have never heard of engineers.

alright mr. smarty mcsmarterthanyou of course i don't actually think i'm going to die. i'm conveying my sense of awe through a general portrayal of certainty that i will die if i ride it.

That's what makes it fun

Have you seen how many steps you have to climb to get to the top of that thing?  No thanks.

there used to be a small water slide park at mhk. true story. it was basically across the street from the daras that is over the bridge on LHC Bill Snyder highway. anyway, some guy tried to do a headstand while going down it and fell over the side to the ground and died.

wackyskwak, retell the story of almost dying on a water slide.

i searched for the old posts but all i could find is that you either flew off a slide and almost died or almost flew off and died.

Both times at Oceans of fun.

1. Was on that racing slide that goes straight down. I hit a bump and was lifted up in the air on a free fall. I had 4 cuts on my legs from that event.  Engineers  :D

2. Was a half tube slide. I came out of the hole and hit a corner and half my body hung over the side.  :ohno: I screamed and held on until I regained balance.

Since the Age of Stone, human progress has been conditioned by the genius of my professional forebears. By them have been rendered usable to mankind Nature’s vast resources of material and energy. By them have been vitalized and turned to practical account the principles of science and the revelations of technology. Except for this heritage of accumulated experience, my efforts would be feeble.

Anyone who goes down that slide is a dumb dumb wrapped around an idiot

the idiot would add a lot of mass, which would actually reduce their chances of flying off the slide. really a catch 22 here, cartier.
