Does anyone know what Toby Tobin actually does, or is he just a pitch man for everything?

How can I get that gig?

2. retards who think we are talking about either A) cowboy hat belt buckle spurs and boots-wearing monster truck driving herp derps from fort worth

this is how non-flyover country views Dallas. This is actually what distinguishes it from Phoenix or Memphis or Tampa more than anything. Yee haw!

i've spent 12 nights in downtown chicago over the past three years and around 30 in dallas over the past eight. those two cities are nothing alike. swing and a miss.

we have 2 types of non-believers here:

2. retards who think we are talking about either A) cowboy hat belt buckle spurs and boots-wearing monster truck driving herp derps from fort worth or B) tucked in jorts wearing small town midwesterners who visit Arlington. either way the image-conscious Dallas that i'm talking about is a foreign concept to these folks

Okay so now we're just talking about the image-conscious area of Dallas.  Every major city has an image-conscious area. The city of Dallas encompasses more than just a portion of the downtown area.  Maybe you should have said "hey there's a few square miles in Dallas that are like 100 square miles in LA."  In the 40-50 nights I've spent in each city, the people and the culture I observed were nothing alike.

Maybe you haven't spent enough time in LA.

at first i thought "wow this is so weird that only mocat and i can see and understand the obvious comparos here" and then within about three seconds my brain came to the final conclusion that "no it really isn't weird because you and mocat are total studs and smarter than 99% of the people here."

then a calmness came over me and i ate a banana that had i put in my desk drawer earlier this morning for an afternoon work snack.

"DYK? Boulevard is the #12 largest brewery in the USA."

No they're not.  They're the 12th largest craft brewery in the USA.  They're the 19th largest brewery in the USA.

it's a very obvious comparison.  dallas is right up with there with LA as far as being image conscious.  one of the main reasons why ft worth is much more tolerable.
