Yeah guys, helping the KC economy sounds awful. A crap ton of people watch the draft, phil. It's not all about you.

I imagine it would be like when Nascar is in town but like a tenth of the people. I wouldn't even notice.

You just agreed with lib and my point that it wouldn't be a ton of people. I couldn't care less of my personal like in this, I love the NFL and all the hoopla they would try to inject into the event.

You try too hard to disagree with me wacky.

I honestly don't. I stopped pretty much interacting with you for a while to be fair. I just think it would be really cool and a lot of fun. I look forward to the draft every year and I'm not the type of fan you think of when you go to a Chiefs game. I get together for the draft sometimes with my college buddies. It's a fun event.

They should just put it in PNL. It will pretty much be the same kind of ppl that attend World Cup games to get smashed once every 4 years.

To enforce your point the plan is round one at Union station because of the crowd size and subsequent days at p&l live block.

I just don't see people coming to KC for a draft party like a Nashville or Vegas. Those cities have turned themselves into a party cities. I'd be happy to be wrong in 2023 and KC has a ton of fans flying in to watch the draft.

Congrats KC, we got the 2023 NFL Draft. Big deal! Could have been 2021, but we didn’t feel our new airport would be ready. Let’s don’t eff this up!

I'm excited KC got the draft and hope that in the next 4 years the city figures out how to accommodate a mass of people in front of Union Station. Imagine the bathroom situation at the Royals WS Parade and replace the happy families with Joey Toughguy in a Philly Jersey.  :Yuck:

I'll probably make a half hearted effort to go down to P&L during the day for the later rounds.

Luckily they have a little more time to prepare. I don't imagine half the royals crowd will be on that hill tbh.

I mean we had half the city there that day. I think it will bring in more fans than you're estimating though. I bet it will be a decent turnout. BBQ, Beer, and the NFL Draft mix pretty well.

Nashville announced this year's draft resulted in $133 million of direct spending in the city, so getting the draft is obviously great for a city's economy.

So Nashville had 600k visitors? Lol, I figured this thing draws like 10k meatheads and/or kietzman type nerds.

Talk about a plaza lighting crowd overestimation.

600k over the 3 days came to the event they say.

BTW Dallas held this in the Jerry dome and it was what 20% full? That seems more reasonable crowd estimation for this event.

comparing crowd size by city is pretty pointless.  there's literally nothing else to do here other than LARP.  kc will have over a million at this event and produce news specials commemorating the crowd size.
