I was going to ask why it's funny but humor is subjective and all that jazz

it’s funny because he’s a pompous ass who can’t realize how over his head his team is and his solution is to tell people to take a chill pill.  but yes, humor is subjective, I agree.  while i think it’s funny, some may perceive his comments as sad.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

well my opinion has been the same throughout, the city is in over their heads and this project should be managed by qualified individuals.  so yeah, this mess falls on city hall.

he doesn't know what he's doing and shouldn't have been promoted into the role in the first place.  we covered this a few hundred pages ago and agreed that it was a good ol' boys club appointment.
he didn't give himself the job though, the list of people who share blame in this is longer than the monday am precheck lines for sure.

the city needs to pay an outside management firm to get them through this process and the contract should be filled with cost and time avoidance incentives towards that firm.  not only will the project shift forward, the city will then have someone to blame for any future slowdowns or overruns.

but they think they can do it all and are going to go down with the ship

All of the delay so far is airline infighting, not sure what the city can do to speed that up.

Well the latest delay. city council and developer before that with their unrealistic timelines. Government shutdown also impacting the environmental assessment that has to be done before construction. Sounds like the airlines are close, probably just know they have time to negotiate with the EA delay prior to this drelay being pinned on them.

I heard there were 2 shootings outside my previous condo by the Quaff lately. Any comments, Phil?

Wacky! It happened last night again and I heard it! The hood is going to crap since you left. I think this is the second time I know of since you left. Send some t&p to your own neighbors and barkeeps!  I think it's that new bar on the corner causing all the disruption.
