I don't get why Kansas city thinks they have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to these new "being a city" issues like bars vs residents in an urban neighborhood. There are literally hundreds of cities who have figured this out...

The biggest thing the blew my mind was that he wants to continue to dictate what businesses operate in a building after he's sold the property.

He definitely is. What really sucks is that he owns a lot of surface parking lots that he refuses to sell for development. Which is why the crossroads will never grow to anything more than what it is. One guy.
