for a city that's one of the most violent cities in the country, we're moving in the wrong direction as it relates to policing our city

but streetcar, downtown hotel, and billion dollar terminal

Subtract every one of those things from KCMO landscape... They never happened... we are in the exact same position.

There were no raises.

- 100 civilian and 60 law enforcement positions were eliminated through attrition.

- Purchased half the number of vehicles they were slated to.

hey cops working in murder city, sorry no raises- but how about a high five, an atta boy, and an ice cream sandwich. 

too bad our city government has spent so much time figuring out how to jam a billion dollar airport terminal and a downtown hotel down our throats instead of figuring out a way to pay our bills.  this is only the beginning, of course.
