I'm just amazed at the SIZE of the intersections. Like, 119th and Metcalf is INSANE.

yeah it's a mind blow

Shawnee mission pkwy is the worst thing in this city. I mean it can take 30 minutes from shawnee to the plaza because of the lights.  :bang:

Yup. You could drop 119th/135th outside Dallas, NoVa, OKC, or most other decently-sized cities, or vice versa, and never tell the difference.

No way. Dallas burbs are the most eclectic in the country.

We moved in the little corridor between 119th and 135th and Metcalf and Nall.

I have yet to find anything that's not within one mile of my house.

culture?
Do you even prairie fire museum?
Neither does anyone else,  but it's there!

where I live will fight any of the places any of you live in an old fashioned homogeneous-off btw. the suburb/farm fringe zone of omaha wins against any and all takers.

frightening really.  idk what part of town you're referring to, but I saw some pretty impressively segregated parts of Omaha when I was there.

I have yet to find neighbors banging each other, but we've only been here a month, so anything is possible.

And I enjoy both of my Honda automobiles, dammit.

(I realize that where I live is very bland, but I like it thus far.)

I think I could drive ours for 10 hours straight on a windy mountain road at 80 mph and it wouldn't even phase me.

Hondas are awful.   Like, why on earth would you buy a honda?  And before one of you dumbasses say they're reliable, there are a lot of reliable cars.
