Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Hey clams/wacky, need some help here.

GF just moved down to Rivermarket area and I need some good insidery tips about cool places/things to do down there. I'll list everything I know and you guyz can tell me what I don't know.

-Farmers Market in summer, duh
-Had some drinks at harry's CC one time after work, was pretty neat.
- always heard good things about caddyshack pizza but I got it the night she moved in and it was "meh"
-Had breakfast at city diner, "meh"

Alright guyz, take it away.

-love Johns Big Deck in the summer
-The library hosts movies on the roof top in the summer. BYOB.
-Quaff
-Cascones
-Mafia tours. The tunnels are under us in the river market.
-Speaking of the river, great running trail by it.
-Pak w/ good buddy fanman.
-Great coffee shops. Love Quay.

cascone's is garbage. ben ji, give city diner another try, maybe for lunch. it is not healthy food tho.

there is a delicious gyro/shawarma place in the market.

definitely take a stroll through planters sometime with your ladyfriend. it is fascinating.

Yeah, that's fair. I was pretty hungover when we went there. You better get your hipster game up, Ben ji, you're in the Mecca of it in KC. Places like happy gillis are great ppl watching (they make brunch with blvd beer products).

How does one sign up for the mafia tours?

Don't know if discussed but went to Genesee Royale by Kemper in West Bottoms - liked it and would go back, not terribly far from River Market.

Speaking of they took the couches out of Happy Gillis and replaced them with tables? Most have gotten more popular.

I like Quay coffee but went on a late Sunday afternoon and it was def crowded - but plenty of outdoor benches nearby.

Farmhouse didn't meet expectations. Food/service ok. Whoever decorated that place is woof.

They advertise it on the radio. Not sure. I've never done it, but it sounds like a lot of fun. You even eat at Garazzos since a lot of stuff went down there.

You're woof, you bad person! They have the best breakfast sandwich i've ever had in the history of time. I'd put them up there with Succotash. Speaking of the west bottoms, I always forget it's right there. I really want to go back to the Golden Ox sometime soon.

Best Happy Hours downtown for the buck:

1. Bar Louie
2. Blu Line
3. Nara

Majestic is awesome as well. Best Manhattan in the city and in the upstairs they have a cigar club for guys only. A lot of important ppl up there. Most of KCPD.

I had the brunch burger off the special menu but will try the breakfast sandwich next time I go - probably would have gotten it had I note been ripped on coffee and feeling risky. Draught selection was pretty good. Speaking of, do they have a guy there that crinkles the menus after they print and spills maple syrup on them?

That's a great corner right there though, location is top notch.

 I loved that. It is a little overpriced for what you get. I can understand your hesitance with it. Ms. Wackysquawk isn't really a fan either, but goes cause I pick up the tab. I just think it's pretty unique and convenient for my location on the weekend.
