Man I loved the G.I. Joe jets. This beast was maybe the happiest I've ever been receiving a gift. Just pure joy.

when I was like 5 my mom got me this for Christmas:

And hid it very poorly in our basement. I innocently (really!) found it and opened the box and just started playing with it. She found out and took it away and gave it to my cousin for Christmas. Probably the most traumatic thing that happened to me in my childhood.

this is the toy that officially destroyed my Santa fantasy.

"Santa" apparently stepped on and broke the nose gear, and my mother chided him for doing so, and I overheard.
