is that the guy that will just launch into mega posts about like how fashion is a political statement or the history of Harris Tweed? if that's the same guy, he's an interesting follow. Or at least he would be if i had a twitter, i just end up seeing his tweets posted other places.

Correct, its pretty great and is usually in response to something someone posts "Well actually, as you can see from this 1965 photo of Robert Redford the BLAH BLAH BLAH can we used in that setting" Then its 10 more tweets with other examples.

I think some of you will really enjoy this thread of interesting maps.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

He's a great follow. Very good at subtly dragging people but also very clever and knowledgeable

I was looking at Dublin on google maps yesterday and I discovered that they have a new feature, for large cities only, they don't have it for Dallas yet, for example. Anyway, it's an AI generated flyover of your route, essentially street view powered with AI. What's even cooler about it is that it shows the current conditions at that location. I was looking at Houston and it was raining in Houston when I looked at the route from the University of Houston, to whatever Minute Maid Park has been changed to. I know that this doesn't sound cool, but it is and if you like google maps, you should check it out. It's only available on the mobile app.

Did the feral hog population get wiped out completely in Texas? :horrorsurprise:

I'm guessing those maps have nothing to do with feral hogs.

When the beef industry left for the plains and southwest, something had to eat all that corn.  Confinement operations can haul that manure back on the crop ground.

Humans???
Humans eat like 10 percent of the corn grown annually.  Forty percent to ethanol, the balance to animals, exports.
