I think both this graph, and the previous stat about the 78/32 average are skewing the data. Both are average temperatures throughout the ENTIRE day... yes, i'd wager that through the 110 degree days of summer, the average temperature is somewhere in the low 90s, giving a summer round average of those 3 months at 78... similarly, are 60% of day in January below freezing? maybe averaged out over the whole day, but the day time high, even in january, is above freezing more often than not.
Come back to me when you have averages of daytime highs, which is far more representative... also, none of this would factor in windchill or humidity, two very important factors in determining
comfort which seams the goal of this little repartee
