All you have to do is look at KU’s financial statements and you’ll immediately see that there’s no way they could afford to lose that contract.

Back in the day I used to crank this song to annoy the old people, now I crank it to annoy the young people

They could either come to terms on a deal or be at each other's throats in FBI and NCAA investigations which wouldn't be good for either party.

That deal is loaded with merch for athletes.  Adidas gets full retail value credit for merch given to athletes, which really inflates the value of the deal.  Maybe Adidas is coming in with a stronger mix of cash, making "cooperation" on the payoff investigation a little easier.

That is standard operating procedure for their industry.  Under Armour (UCLA), NIKE (tOSU) and again adidas (Washington) all have a similar merchandise valuation included in those contracts.

Remember when Lagerald Vick kicked that woman in the face and then later that year he and Josh Jackson threatened her and destroyed her car?  Wild stuff.
