Shane Southwell, 6-6, G, Kansas State -- Southwell changed K-State for the better when he moved to the power forward spot; now he will have to carry the 'Cats on offense. KSU will press and have to ramp up the tempo with their losses to graduation and transfer, and expect Southwell to be the guy on offense.
From CBS: Who's ready for a breakout season in 2013-14?QuoteShane Southwell, 6-6, G, Kansas State -- Southwell changed K-State for the better when he moved to the power forward spot; now he will have to carry the 'Cats on offense. This is why Weber is recruiting a guard heavy team.
Doug is just as heartbroken as many of the K-State b ball faithful over this one. He is just trying to be nice and not crush our spirits before Marshall Henderson and 12 other teams beat us this year and we don't go to the tournament.Let's count the losses. KU 2OSU 2Ole Miss probably 1Iowa State 2 OU 1West Virginia 1Some preseason tournament 1baylor 1preseason bull crap 2Thankfully the Big 12 is still down otherwise it would be worse.
This is oscar's rebuilding year. He's excused for having a down year.
I saw an article where oscar talked about playing Shane at the point. Crazy to think he could go from power forward one year to point the next. He might be the best point on the roster heck he's probably the best 1,2,3 and 4 man on the roster.
