Basically all expensive things that are a pain in the ass to store/maintain and can easily be rented the 2-3 times a year you'll actually use them, right? I'm not quite to the "rusts/rots/depreciates" level, but I'm really close. One truck and a pair of hammers (insidery "grass farmer" reference).

correct. I do own a hose but it is not for yard use. strictly for hosing out garage at the end of winter use. and that's just because I don't have a convenient person to hire to do that for me.

Even if I ever move to a "house" vs. condo which is highly unlikely, I'll can't see me ever mowing that lawn.

The thought of Phil mowing made me laugh very, very hard.

If you have more than two kids, just buy a bigger SUV. Down here, if you have more than 2 kids I think you're contractually obligated to buy a Suburban.
