Validation of Denis/Jake > Popguns?

what is there like 3 people here who could answer this?  good question though, i am gonna ask my dad this. he was there when those 2 played.

We'll be better next year.

If so the style will have to be completely different.  A low possession, big oriented, bruising type of team.  Will be interesting to see what form the team takes next year.

There is no reason we can't play similarly fast.

We won't have a super-confident (mindsets, can be learned), shooting, speed merchant, below average defending PG anymore.

But the expectation should be that we can make up for what Denis does, most of the time, with an improved (Jake), Curt, Dom, Jamar, Wally, and Rodney.

The only negative I see is Freddy slowing us down.

Issue here is that you didn't mention a second guard.  How many championship teams are 1 guard teams?

I think good kind of depends on what you mean.  I don't think there is any way we are as good next year because we lose my second favorite player in KSU bball history.  We may win more games, we may even repeat as national champs.  But we'll never be as good as this year.

This is special boys and girls.  Peggy Po has been a slut this year.

If we picked up, or convinced Martavious or Nick to become, an ultra-confident, pushing PG, we would have virtually made up for all that Denis gives us.

I love Denis, for who he is, but we are definitely not losing our best player this year.
