this guy used to live at coit and legacy in plano :gocho:

We were practically neighbors at one time then. I used to live at Coit and Hedgcoxe.

Love the people in my office I work with. Hate the contractors I work with. General contractors are very good at knowing everything under the sun in one breath, then being completely unaware and unknowledgable when their ass is on the line.

I'm still searching for another place of employment.

I have an employee on vacation this week. He's a pain in the ass, so it's nice that he is gone. However, I am the only one qualified to do the majority of his work, so I have had a pretty shitty week. It doesn't help that my counterpart, the other supervisor (who really should be my subordinate), is a lazy, unmotivated fuckface.

Hang in there, bruh...  I know that feeling all to well, and it's not pleasant at all.

I just have to get through one more hour today that involves a shitty weekly meeting that almost drains the life completely out of me, then I'm off to my final interview where I have been told to expect an offer from by middle of next week.

Going through the motions where I'm at now is getting harder by the hour.

Congrats, friend!  :D

Thanks, young blood...

My start date is scheduled for July 10 and these last 3 weeks at my current job are easily going to be the longest, most painful period of my entire life.  Fortunately, I've got a 5 day trip to Cabo planned for July 2-6 to keep my mind off of the hell I currently live within.

With a start date of July 9 for my new job, my letter of resignation letter already typed, printed and dated June 21, and nothing really left to accomplish at my current job due to very lengthy sales cycles, I can already tell that this week is likely to be one of the longest weeks of my life...

Yep.  With an IT job, seems like they should/would.  :dunno:

Most sales jobs will walk you as soon as you give notice... However, I'm not real sure what to expect here.  They may let me go once I give my notice, but then again they may expect me to stick around and help "transition" my accounts and opportunities.

If I didn't want/need the commission income that I'd lose by not waiting until Friday, I would have already dropped the bomb.

if they escort you out, they should continue to pay your through your resignation date.   if they don't then you are no different than your current situation.

You're on the right track, but I have a contract coming in the first week of July barring any crazy unforeseen circumstances and I need to still be "employed" here to get paid on it...  I've actually thought all this out.  Believe this: If I didn't really need to be here, I wouldn't be.

so today i said something slightly negative about a client in an email to a coworker. and i do mean slightly, not a huge insult or anything like that but not something i would want them to see.

the mother rough rider replies to the email and adds the people from the client-side on the email, with my comment there for the world to see. what do you know, they mention it in the conference call that takes place an hour later. eff that coworker.

See if they always lock all their doors, in the parking lot, if not leave something that will smell like homeless feet under one of their seats all day in the sun.   That or just go up to them and give them the business about the double-strike

My company makes salad dressing for a certain restaurant in Kansas City. The chef has been complaining it's not thick enough. I showed him the different measurements we use to measure thickness/consistancy and that the numbers are matching up with what they want. He just looks at me and says "I don't care, it's still too thin"
