Thanks for the well wishes, bros... All seems to be right in the world thus far. More interviews to come, though. It seems that maybe they're seeing more value in me than the position I originally was recruited for and I will have more interviews for an even higher level gig.

I'm pretty stoked about it still and now hoping they don't come back with "we didn't choose you for the director role, but you're over qualified for the sales mgmt role we initially discussed". I'll keep y'all updated as things progress.

Just left a meeting with the VP overseeing the new division at the company I've been interviewing with and he assured me that I'll have an offer by Wednesday or so of next week... Now it's just a matter of him deciding what role he wants me in and us working out the financials.

All the thoughts and well wishes are greatly appreciated. Life is about to take a turn for the better.

A definite beating. Being on the 35th floor of huge skyscraper has been cool but I am ready to shorten my commute. Our campus in Plano is very very nice.
