LIVIN' ON A PRAYER — Weis celebrated the end of spring drills by watching Jersey pal Jon Bon Jovi at Sprint Center Saturday night.

"I happen to be a big fan," said Weis, who was accompanied by his wife and athletic director Sheahon Zenger. "He's a good friend, a good guy, a family guy. You see these rock'n'rollers sometimes that everyone perceives as roaming the streets, but he's just a good guy. We've been friends for a long time."

oh, and dunks, space jams, jerry macgwire, etc.

He is from Jersey. IIRC NJHawk or someone on phog had Weis as his HS fencing coach.

The ku spring match is on local access tv in my hotel room right now. Believe it or not, they may actually be worse than they were last year. Just rough ridin' terrible at every position

If you stumbled into having some super elite coach fool ppl into a hard core belief that you were overly fantastic at your job and you wanted to retire in five yrs, the best thing to do would be to fail as hard as you can. 5 yrs/5jobs/5 buyouts/retirement.
