FWIW, the AD's office treats big donors like mushrooms.

Eats them and has a religious-like experience?

feeds them crap and keeps them in the dark.

--Basketball wise, verdict is still out on Weber. But he will have a short leash. If K-State fails to make the tournament in any year, he may be gone.
--Dana Altman felt that he was pushed out of K-State from within, but wouldn't rule out a K-State return.

1. If no NCAA tourney next season then I bet Weber is on the hot seat, not fired. Doubt Currie gives up on his first hire that early

2. I'm never going to support bringing back a coach that was mediocre while here

Man.  I'll never understand the Anybody But Weber crowd.  Is it that Weber was the guy who replaced Frank?  Is it his voice?  Altman has a lower lifetime winning percentage... lower winning percentage at his current school... won 19 conference games in 4 years at KSU (Weber won 14 games in 1 year)... and we're talking favorably about Altman now...

I always feel like I'm taking crazy pills when I read what this board has to say about Weber.

[...Will Farrell picture here...]

Did anyone actually mention replacing Weber with Altman?  I read it as Altman wants to come back if the position opened - not that anyone actually wanted him.

But you're pretty butthurt about #BiD, so you see Weber butthurt everywhere

All I've noticed is he comes on here and does damage control for A-Dept. Maybe he's just a shill.

With the huge TV dollars we now get, do they really care much about boosters any more?  What is the split on donations vs. revenue?

Dana Altman 2013 is a different guy than the one that arrived here with one year as a head coach at Marshall. Would take Altman over most anyone in college hoops, he has it going and a lot of Snyder traits.

Love these threads.

Bunch of big time donors sitting around talking like they have scoops = banter between posters on any sports site.

Only difference is big time donors don't understand how to log into message boards and their dollar signs bring auto street cred.

Oh man, I really want Crap to do a true or false on the limestone wall.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

"Perkins (KU AD) loved the Prince hire. Apparently was very nervous that K-State hired a "home run" hire."

I don't even know what to make of this.
