...and here's what was discussed (some of this we already know, but hey...)

--LHC LHC LHC Bill Snyder didn't return to "calm the waters". Bill came back strictly to make Sean "head coach in waiting". Sean is Bill's guy, and he will 95% likely be our next coach.
--Sean runs EVERYthing. I know most people know this, but apparently Bill is slowly letting Sean take over everything.
--Brent Venables, Jim Leavitt, Mike Stoops, Mangino, etc., were never seriously considered to replace Snyder his first go-around. Snyder is STILL bitter that these guys left K-State, and he doesn't want them now. IF the new coach is someone other than Sean, it will be from with-in the program.
--Snyder was up in the air on the Prince hire.
--Snyder absolutely can't STAND Currie. Snyder sub-consciously wants Weber to "fail" so it can prove what an idiot Currie is, and run him out of town. Currie would be crucified if he ever touched Snyder, so Weber's failure might lead to Currie's eventual firing.
--Charlie Weis sent over "spies" to mimic almost everything that K-State does in football. His words (paraphrasing) "You get your asses over there and find out exactly what they are doing over there. I want to do it like that".
--Perkins (KU AD) loved the Prince hire. Apparently was very nervous that K-State hired a "home run" hire.
--Sams is Bill's guy. Would be shocked if Waters started over Daniel.
--Dalvin Warmack is the closest thing to Sproles the coaching staff has ever seen.

--Basketball wise, verdict is still out on Weber. But he will have a short leash. If K-State fails to make the tournament in any year, he may be gone.
--Lon Kruger is still EMAW, but he would never return to coach here.
--Dana Altman felt that he was pushed out of K-State from within, but wouldn't rule out a K-State return.

Like I said, most already know this info, but hopefully some of this is new.

Pretty much every bullet point here is false.

Guys, I wouldn't post this stuff if I thought it had zero crediblity. Without naming any names, this guy has been an insider for the Athletic department since the 70's. His brother and my father played baseball together at K-State back in the day. Very reliable.

I wouldn't say stuff just to say stuff. I thought I was being informative.  :embarrassed:

I won't do it anymore.  :dunno:

You must not be reading my posts. Please keep posting. If you thought everyone was going to swoon all over the information, then you need to read the blog a bit more. That doesn't mean you shouldn't post insider info. Plus, when what you say is true, you can quote yourself and tell the haters to suck it! If you are wrong, you just say, "welp, that is what this old dude told me." It is best to not make crap up, but I don't think you did that.

You guys want to know how much donors know and are kept in the loop?  When Currie decided to let Frank go to SC without trying to keep him, the #1 BB donor wasn't informed that Frank was officially out until more than 24 hours after Frank had officially informed Currie he was leaving.

i know a "big time donor" pretty well.  Wouldn't take anything he says very seriously. He thinks he's pretty special bc he gets special treatment, but he's clueless. Guy even calls Snyder "Schnyder"  :dunno:

...not saying 43's info is all bs, just agreeing that a lot of donors aren't itk, they're just rich cat fans.

I like the look, but the nickname doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

back to the drawing board.
