Games these past 4 days
« on: March 31, 2013, 03:46:36 PM »
Seems to be a trend.   Getting out to a quick lead.   And then some horrible offense by the losing teams

1) Indiana started 4-16 FGs with 12 TOs...... Cuse built a 29-11 lead
2) Mia started 5-27 FGs...... Marq got up 26-14
3) LaSalle started 4-18 FGs...... Wich St got up 25-12
4) Marq started 2-14 FGs with 7 TOs .... Cuse were up 19-7
5) Ohio St was 8-36 FGs .... and Wich St had a 37-22 lead
6) Fla started 4-19 FGs..... Mich was up 30-11

We saw 1st half scoring outputs of 22,16,22,18,22 by those teams above (only Fla came on a bit to get 30 pts in 1st hf)

Unfortunately, we were apart of this trend on the 2nd day of the tourney.....   started 5-18 FGs and trailed 28-11

The tournament has been very boring as of late besides the KU game.

On the flip side of some bad offensive basketball here in the tourney ----
1) Michigan, who after destroying a good VCU team, shot 54.4 eFG% and scored 166 pts in 85 minutes against 2 of the top 5 defenses in the nation

2) Lville, who scored 244 pts these past 3 games.  Thanks a lot to a pressing D than helped them shoot 60.6% on 2pt.
