i cook the bacon, set aside, wipe my pan.  put 2 tablespoons butter in it over med-high heat and let it melt and brown.  then drop the egg in it after it turns chestnut brown.  don't over cook the butter/burn it because that sucks.  brown butter eggs are the elitest of the elite.

you can see how the butter browned my egg white on the one in the back, served on english muffin with tobasco.  my gf got me the stupid plate from anthropologie.

get a good fry pan and flipper, makes it way easier but it still takes a little practice.  cook them over med high heat, not too low.

i cook mine over medium.

Used to have them as a kid.  Was a father bread go to.  Forgot about them until this thread.  So great.

Start by taking some thin sliced smoked ham and warming it in the skillet. Remove and put on toasted engl muffin. Try the brown butter eggs and right as you crack them in, sprinkle some fresh cut green onion in the egg white.  Then one you flip it, sprinkle some finely shredded mozz, or any other fav white cheese on the egg white the second side cooks.  Serve on an engl muffin and ham.

I make a pretty elite chicken tikka masala but instead of marinating the chicken and grilling it and then adding it to the sauce I just shred a rotis. chicken into the sauce and just spice the sauce extra hard. I do this with about every recipe that calls for me to cook chicken though. not a new food, just a strategy.

Sometimes when I am drinking 1% milk it is too watery but 2% is just too unhealthy.  Using similar ratio to 'clams Gatorade recipe, but with different ingredients, I made 1.6% milk which is just right.  Stay tuned and hopefully I'll have time to type up the recipe later.

Seems like this should have gotten more discussion at the time. Fried eggs are amazing.

Complete opposite for me. Hard w/bread. Otherwise usually easy, occasionally medium.

Mix it together with the hash browns. Or use it as dipping sauce for bacon/sausage.

I put some clams-style fried eggs on top of a taco salad last night.  It was elite.

Invented a pretty good cheese/meat dip. Cook some cheap mexican chorizo, mix in a small can of salsa verde(added lime and cilantro too), sour cream, and cream cheese. Boom, chile con queso y chorizo.
