yes.  They were 4-20 in conference from 01-03 (3 of those 4 wins came in '03).  and then in '04 beat defending conf champion KSU and a 5-6 MU team for their only conf wins that year. 

to put that 3 year run in perspective, Ron went 9-15 in his 3 years.  that tells you how shitty they were and how far we actually fell under snyder. 

p.s. bill's last two years before retiring, ksu was 4-12 in conference......after winning the conference.

Bowl eligible is quite a bit better than losing 20 straight dude, any argument you throw together isn't going to change that.

As KSU has proved, being bowl eligible (or even winning the conference) doesn't have anything to do with the following year's team.

They have been shittier now than then, for sure, but it would not be a surprise if we lose to them in lawrence this year.
