The other stuff is real egg too, it is an "egg beaters" like mixture of yolks pre-beaten.

You guys mean to tell me that a restaurant will put something on your sandwich that they already have in stock and make for other stuff anyway?  Seems a little farfetched to me.

Anyone have a blog entry on what happens if you ask for cheese on a mcchicken?  TIA.

People who go to restaurants and order with multiple substitutions can get mumped

 :surprised:

I like the folded egg!  As a matter of fact, I ask for the folded egg on my mcMuffin instead of the round egg sometimes.

Why?  That's what they are there for. It's the people who don't leave a good tip when doing this that can get mumped. I do this all the time, but I leave a damn good tip when I do.

Dishes are created to be served as is on the menu. Don't like what comes on the plate then order something else. Substituting cheeses is acceptable. Also that tip goes in the waitresses pocket not the kitchen guys like college aged Ell that bust their ass making your random creation that isn't on the menu

Yeah, I think we're are talking about two different levels of substitutions.

I've got one for you guys.

At Houston's, chicken tenders are no longer on the menu as an entree item.  HOWEVER, if you ask for a chicken tenders platter, they will give it to you.

Here's another potential one.

At J. Alexander's they stopped listing the corn bread as a side item on the menu.  However, they still use it to make the croutons on a couple of salads.  I bet you could totally still order a side of corn bread.

the "flying chicken platter", i love blowing the socks off of non-regulars when i decline a menu when offered and just ask for a flying chicken platter, sub fries for slaw, extra honey mustard, while winking at the waitress who also knows what's up.  it really sets the tone of the meal.

Chicken Z-Man at Ok Joes...not on menu.

Italian butter at any KC Italian restaurant.  Warmed oil with garlic and parm.  Hardly ever on the menu but they will know exactly what you are talking about.

Fresh rolled breakfast burritos with fake eggs or day old breakfast burritos with real eggs? You be the judge. We all know Kat Kid's preference.

Occasionally the chicken Zman will be the special. It's very very good.

Unless the chipotle employee mushes you by saying they don't know what you are talking about. Also, is there anything worse than getting your burrito made by some burrito wrapping amateur?

People go to OK joe's and order chicken? Do you go to Dairy Queen and order a salad too?
