It already is a successful season. Anytime you make the NCAA tournament it is successful.

This team should be competing for a conference title and it did and got a share. As long as this team doesn't lose the first round, I will call it a really good season.

This could easily be a great season and we can't rule out the chance of it being the best season ever if we get hot from 3 for an extended period.

any time you are an 8 seed or better it is a successful season, no matter what happens in the big 12 and ncaa tourneys. really, any time you qualify for the ncaa tourney, it's been a successful season.

Will be super happy with a s16.

I don't think all conference titles (or sweet 16's or elite 8's) are created equal, but it's impossible to not consider a season a success when you get either a conference title or sweet 16.

Conference titles will almost always tell you more about the overall health of the program, though.
