If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

This tweet made me remember Dean had an amazing chance at a KU/K-State lifetime memory w/ the 3 to win it in 17.

Instead, KU went the other direction and Svi made the 5 step lay up.

I can’t remember such a time where it seemed to inject much enthusiasm and inspired play on the court.

I really hope the go purples win.  It's what's best for the board.  Though it does sting to turn my back on Bill like that.  #fightonstateu #basketcats #nottodayshitbirds

Tomlin gets into early foul trouble.

Kansas gets too many second chances/fast break points.

Honestly as long as we don’t blow a 20 point 2nd half lead I don’t really care all that much (but for the record I would prefer if we win)

I kind of agree with tang. Also too much of our fanbase is comprised of yokels who just want to beat ku and show up in big numbers for the annual fball bowl game. It%u2019s embarrassing and small minded.

he's exactly correct. I would have maybe added that people should be fired up and loud for the game also because it's a top 5 opponent at home. If he gets the program where he wants it, it will be just another big game to stay at the top of conf.
Thankfully i don't follow many dorks who were pissed about it. As soon as he said rent free, i knew the awful ksu twitter reply guys would be pissed. dorks

I would hope the majority of our fans are self aware enough to appreciate that the more you push back against a comment like “living rent free,” the more support you’re giving to it.

Oh for sure, and I think he also made those comments from the perspective of someone who's been in the conference for nearly 20 years on the outside looking in. Like, it was a "this is obvious how do you not see that" that plenty inside the bubble just can't see like he (and many others) does.

Also Baylor doesn't have a rival so he probably has no idea how that works with the fans

This is probably true. A small population with 2 P5 schools makes it nearly impossible not to interact with your rival on a daily basis.

It's refreshing.  As long as we beat KU most of our fans wouldn't care what happens the rest of the season.  Little dick energy.  I want big dick energy where we think of this as another competitive ranked game that makes us better so we can finally compete for a Natty.

I don't think he said anything wrong, it was basic coach speak.  It just came across and kind of cheesy.

1. Missouri is our rival. You guys are just our little bros we give noogies to.

2. Anything could happen. I don't have a strong feeling either way. We are ball Hawks, so it could go the way of TCU. Or maybe not!

3. I hope for a good, clean game with no injuries to these young sportsmen.
