I
Conference football championships are determined on the field.

ku hasn't won or shared a conference football championship in . . .

#45years

and your last ncaa title was.....NEVER!

Yawn call me when you sweep football and bball.  Much harder to do

pretty sure running through a field of 64 now 68 is harder than that. if winning a championship is do easy than why hasn't Kstate done it yet?
everyone is jealous

yes, 100% sure it's harder than winning fball and bball conference title in the same year. I bet all Kstate fans would trade in the big 12 title for a championship in either fball or bball

Did we determine if lj is a T-shirt or not?  Trying to figure out where to direct him, Baker U, Washburn, or Emporia St. board.

Damn near all of 'em are t-shirt...  Most of the alums/students aren't stupid enough to get involved with the super petty bullshit.

There's no question that ljmhock is a t-shirter.

So you are saying that there are schools that sweep fb and bball titles every year?   Maybe I'm wrong but i am under the impression it happens every year.   There are some stank ass programs with national titles I'm basket ball

So, like, pretty much every year someone wins a Nat. title in football and someone wins one in bball.  I'm not sure how often someone wins a (Major) Conf title in bball and fball in the same year, but I'm pretty sure it happens less than every year.  It's like a poker hand.  Sure it's cool when you get pocket 7s and spike one on the flop for trips, but it just isn't as valuable as four of a kind, ya know?  Cuz it happens less often.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Quote
Kansas State’s basketball players and coaches clipped the nets before about 3,000 fans Monday in Bramlage Coliseum in celebration of the school’s first men's conference hoops championship since 1977.

There was no such commotion at Kansas University — where the co-Big 12 champion Jayhawks, like the Wildcats, lost Saturday to see their final league record settle at 14-4.

What a joyless bunch. Sad really.

are people going to be talking about Kstate conference sweep in 2012-13 or Alabama winning the NCAAF title and (insert here) winning march madness? hint: I bet it's not a conference sweep!

Business As Usual
In the final standings, Kansas and Kansas State finished the regular season tied for the Big 12 regular season title. But, the schools couldn’t have celebrated the feat in more opposite fashions on Monday.

Sad to see how far they've fallen.  It seems like just yesterday our Kansas brothers were  :kugoalposts: game after game, celebrating like there was no tomorrow.
