Sat. Evening was hardcore Karma for all the butthurt in phogtuck land about Scott Drew letting Rodney go free . . . they really wanted that easy road and all their cheering for Baylor didn't pay off.   No doubt they were feeling pretty good at about 3 o'clock Saturday, settling in for their game after cheering for Oklahoma State for 2 hours or so.

Yeah, like this place hasn't been a total circle jerk since Baylor did your dirty work.

I never said it wasn't Beems.   But I know all to well phogtuck land was cheering their asses off for Baylor and Okie State . . . the butthurt in phogtuck land is off the charts right now.

KU fans just know that little bro will go overboard with this co-championship thing and brag about it for the next 100+ years of existence.  You're like a bunch of new money hillbillies who just hit the lottery, and now you're going around spending all your money like you're Bill Gates or something.  I'm happy for my K-State friends, but I knew that the message boards would be like this if K-State won.

really? you want to use fiscal responsibility as an analogy?

 ...try again.

I understand your point. It would be like bragging about a BCS game...six years later...after the BCS system has been deemed a fraud, and replaced with something that actually works.

You're absolutely correct. It's utterly pathetic.

Can you imagine what the phog would do if they won a conference championship in football?

like I said...if we meet up on Saturday Kstate will piss down their leg for a 3rd time this year and then everyone will know who the real big 12 champs are. but I'm sure if that happens there will be countless "KU cheated" or "KU paid the refs" threads.

Didn't realize the Big 12 Torney was for "the real big 12 champs."  :dunno: :dunno:

I'm just glad that if we piss down our leg it will be in KC and not Fort Worth

The "so-and-so cheated and/or paid the referees" posts belong on Phog. You must be lost. It's understandable, with the Squawk Nation losing their mind after the Blowout in Baylor.

I wish I could say something comforting to you. I know sharing is hard; my three-year-old tells me that all the time.

Who cares who the "real" big 12 champs are?  I can't imagine caring so much about the perception of my team that I can't enjoy a championship. It must be awful.

You would clearly know what "pissing down their leg" looks like.

Yeah, like this place hasn't been a total circle jerk since Baylor did your dirty work.  46-3 is just killing you guys.

Why can't you be happy for us?  My goodness you have 9 in a row. What more do you want?

They should be thanking the Lord, that the ref's gave them ISU.  Then they would have something to cry about, since we would be the true Big XII champs.

all you stupid Kstate fans can complain about our win at ISU all you want but if you would have beat KU once you'd be champs by yourself so shut up and go enjoy your little net cutting ceremony 2 days after you backed into a co-championship. i hope KU/Kstate meet on Saturday and them we win for the 3rd time this year!

What exactly would you call what KU did?  I suppose they couldn't have backed into anything what with their butts otherwise occupied being mercilessly mumped by church aggie.  Whatever you call that they certainly did it face forward.  So 'grats I guess.

I'm not mad that Kstate and KU are sharing the title. I'm just flabbergasted at how Kstate is handling it. you share the football and basketball trophy yet they think manhattan is title town? KU now has what...55 conference championships in basketball and 8 in football. Kstate has won 18 in basketball and 6 in football. and a net cutting ceremony? lol you've got to be kidding me

That's not very nice, you guys. I mean, we just took away their "wait until basketball season" talking point for the next eight months.

We already took football away from them, and now we're getting interested in basketball. It's not nice to pummel your little brother.  :nono:

When you're expected to win the Big 12 title every year, it's more of a relief when you win than a celebration.  It sucks, but when you're a fan of an elite program, success is measured on a national level.

and as much as it hurts to admit it I was rooting for Kstate to win a championship in football. I want the state of kansas to do well. was I a little happy when Baylor beat them? of course I was. and for basketball I always cheer for Kstate to win when they're not playing KU. I hope Kstate makes a deep running in the tourney because it helps our conference out and the state.

I was expecting ku fan to take the "we beat you twice, see you in the big 12 tourney" angle.  surprised by this turn of events.

Yeah, we are a FB school.   We already won our FB conf title.

BB is suppose to be your sport, right.   This conf trophy i am looking at must meen that something didnt go according to plan.   Yes you have your trophy, but sharing it with Kstate or Mizzou in past years just wasnt part of the plan, now was it

Can I just say that I love--LOVE--that Beems has a cheesy Edmund Burke quote in his sig? I mean, that's so Beems.
