Do you guys like doing a lot of stuff after buying a house? Like, we seriously bought a finished home and Mrs wacky can't sit still. Lots of painting, buying house stuff, etc. Am I crazy for just wanting to relax the first month of buying our first home? I feel like many of these projects we're doing could wait.

If you put them off, they never get done. After about a year, you just dgaf anymore.

We have a crap ton of chipmunks and squirrels on our property. I keep seeing chipmunks go into our garage in this little corner that they must have dug out. Can they do anything bad to your house? I ask this because we've had an uncarved pumpkin sitting on our porch for two weeks and somehow those little fuckers have dug a whole through that too.

I thought like that too but after time I see more and more stuff I would like changed, altered, updated, improved, etc. Honestly this cats football season has been rough besides just the games by still having season tickets and going to all of them. I wish I had more of my weekend so I could at least have one day to relax, and another to do w/e minor project I can do in the interim. I find doing most minor stuff fairly therapeutic and it's nice when it's done cause you get to enjoy the fruits of labor.

Big projects agree you should get done sooner rather than later. But sometimes the $ ain't there.

luckily its not sitting empty  but the guy doesn't always pay on the first and sometimes I have to remind him.. I should start fining him but Im too nice

When you have back problems, it's an issue being on your knees, bending down, etc. Also, I don't usually tape because I can cut in edges, but I have to dummy proof it for the Mrs.

We built a basketball court, chain link fenced the property, built a storage building, and put up a pool in the first year we lived in our new house.  Progress waits for no one.

I don't remember if I updated or not but my basement floors are done. Now I just have to put the trim back up. I don't really ever feel like it though

She is. I'm the one who's barely done anything tbh. I do try and help her out however on the weekend so she can just focus on painting.
