But they didn't beat MethU, and thus, did not deserve a BCS championship game appearence.

When Nebraska went to the national championship game against Miami after losing their final regular season game to lose the North to 2-loss CU, all I heard was "Sure, CU is the better team, but Nebraska has to be in the game because CU has 2 losses. Come on, Nuts Kicked." Well, in 2007, here sits 1 loss KU, wearing exactly the same slipper that NU was wearing, only there was no NCAA prince to come save the day because the SEC money was just keeping them on that SEC dick. ku has to maximize every dime they can out of basketball, their football program is hemorrhaging money, nearly $13 million in the red in the last 2 fiscal years combined from an operating standpoint for ku football.   Their athletic department put up ugly operating numbers for FY 2012.   They're not going to move a basketball game off campus unless they absolutely have to.
