Not butthurt but you don't get a scholarship offer to play at Michigan and then choose KU, without something going on under the table. Especially if you live in Big 10 country.

KU is closer to home and offers more playing time. Plus this guy went to the same high school as Tony Pierson. Speaking of Pierson, KU was dominating K-State last year when Pierson was on the field (14-7). Wouldn't be surprised if KU dominates K-State next year with Pierson and Sims both healthy.

The Sunflower Showdown should be a real knock down drag out fight this year, with real braggin' right implications on the line, that's for sure. Whoever stays healthier throughout the season will be the clear favorite.

Pierson is going to be amazing as long as he can safely avoid the overwhelming drug and alcohol culture that the poor economy is only making that much worse. If Chuck can keep him on the field and off the mean streets of Lawrence, that kid is going to be really good.

The fact that KU shamed K-State on the recruiting trail has to sting a little bit. I mean you'd think a team coming off of a Fiesta Bowl could out+ecruit 1-11, but no. Maybe that's why the K-State fanbase is so butthurt about Weis.

That's a really good point, beems. 2014 recruiting does look pretty good so far, though. Hopefully we have a good season so we don't lose too many studs to other programs before signing day.

K-State fans know their programs can't compete on the national level, so they overhype conference titles and pretend like they're better than they really are. Weber has destroyed their basketball program within the first year, and Snyder's getting his ass kicked on the recruiting trail by Weis. Add to that the fact that KU just signed the best player since Lebron, and well, it's easy to see why K-State fans are so butthurt right now.
