Re-aggravated his chest bruise injury. Doubtful for TCU also.

He re-aggravated his can't-guard-Heslip injury, oscar realized Tay is a better basketball player.

His 3 pt attempt was also thrown up out of rhythm.  I think his minutes would suggest that if he misses his first couple looks or loses shooters on the perimeter early, he is < 30 min.  Maybe his injury had more to do with that today, but I don't think they want him out there if he's stewing in a lack of confidence.

If he hits early he could be good for up to 15 pts.  Tonight I think they wanted more consistency in 'tay out there.

Tay couldn't guard him either. It was Rodney that shut him down.

He only got one shot off against Tay, and that was off a scramble following a long offensive board.

He made one with Sprads in the game, then he made 2 more after Tay came in. Then Rodney started to guard him.

BTW, no disrespect to Tay, he played a great game.

No, denied, you can't count the loose ball recovery shot against Tay. :dubious:

I'll give that, but there was a reason Rod took over guarding him.

Tay had a bit of a weird game, honestly. Started it out by having like 3 almost-turnovers in a row and looked really out of sorts before hitting his first trey, then pretty much dominated after that (relative to expectations of production).

Lost in all of this is that Angel has what has become an average game for him, 13 pts and 8 assists. Anyone surprised that Angel assisted the game winner? I'M NOT!!!
