Regular season has been a little less exciting, but for me I'm pretty sure it had to do with us being one of the nation's elite in football. Confy title in bball, ho-hum...but I think the tourney will be super fun and exciting, unparalleled by any season in my lifetime that I can remember except during Jake/Denis E8 year.

the biggest reason is so many boring games because the league is the worst ever by far, that's the only reason.

This season is pretty goddam exciting. The only way it wouldn't be exciting is if you need the media to hold your hand and tell you it's exciting. They're just not going to do that with oscar as our coach.

College basketball in general is just boring to a lot of people. Needs some sweeping rule changes.

Our fans are stupid and pussies, and I say this while fully admitting I do enjoy blasting oscar as much as I enjoyed blasting Frank. Thing is, so far there hasn't been much to blast oscar about as oppossed to the "why play for first when fifth is available" situation we endured last season.

Less thrilling games. No Frank. No really exciting player like Pullen or Clemente (though Angel is quickly becoming very exciting and McGruds can turn it on sometimes). Too many teams we don't care about. Only one significant win (Florida). Blown out in four out of five games against top ten opponents. Big 12 is down. oscar is unappealing. Still can't beat KU and we're all starting to realize we will lose to them 9 out of ten times. Football has taken back its seat as top priority. Accustomed to winning now......I think that all about sums it up.

I think sweeping rule enforcement would be better. Make it a little less physical and scoring will go up.

Rules exist to handle this, but the interpretation of the rules has become more lenient.

Early season losses against highly ranked veteran teams like Michigan are not, were not, and will never be surprising when you have a new coach and a new system.

The league may be "down" but all of college basketball is down, the national media is splugging all over the fact that the BiG's upper level teams have played a handful of pretty decent, watchable games, while feasting on mediocrity thoughtout the rest of the conference . . . and forgetting that teams like Wisc just bore other teams into defeat.

For me the 2010 team was a blast to watch. They could have been a 7 seed and they would have been fun to watch. However that season was just that much more fun because 1) we were good early on beating unlv and bama 2) being in the top 10 a good portion of the year and 3) getting a 2 seed and 4) xavier game

Beasley/Walker year was awesome but we struggled in noncon and we did lose 7 of 12 games going into M Madness. Thus an 11 seed. I remember going into the 2010 season thinking i would be happy if we got a 5 seed. Very few if any true fans really saw that team coming and doing what we ended up doing (2 seed 29 wins Elite8 team)

This season has been fun because after struggling early on and looking overmatched vs Mich/Gonz.... we 1) beat a very good Fla team 2) have avoided having that "stinker loss" that Frank's teams seemed to have, 3) we are 12-3 in conf that could end up getting a 3/4 seed and 4) the love for the JYC Doverman pinchers has been replaced by the adorableness of Angel Shane and Rod.

It's fun to not have been upset, but I would take a big win with a bad loss any day.
