last night crushed me, and it had absolutely nothing to do with KU. The [insert conference race contender here] snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, and assuredly ended our title hopes.

of course i'm crushed.

I would like to think that the law of karma ensures another KU loss, but I don't think even karma can overcome rigged officiating.

Prepare yourselves: we're not winning @OSU. But I'd like to at least beat Baylor to keep the dream alive for a bit longer (and get that 3-seed in the dance!). This has been fun.

koug, being upset about this is okay. It hurt worse that for a few moments it looked like ISU had the game won, then within a minute or so it all fell a part. The prospect of a 1 game lead with 3 to go seemed like it was inevitable.

after several years of sustained success you start to want more. you can only take so many near misses at a KU loss (which would mean an outright title) before you're fed up.
