The only good thing going for Tech this year is TCU; if it wasn't for the Horned Frogs, Tech would be the worst Big 12 team ever, though only slightly worse than last year's Tech.

Here are Tech's numbers overall in Big 12 play.

Total   Pace   PPP   eFG%   TO%   OR%   FTR
Tech   65   0.89   43.0%   21.9%   30.0%   36.2%
Opp   65   1.12   53.9%   18.9%   36.3%   45.8%

And in just road games:

Road   Pace   PPP   eFG%   TO%   OR%   FTR
Tech   66   0.88   42.7%   22.6%   31.1%   34.9%
Opp   66   1.11   51.0%   19.4%   38.6%   54.1%

Either way, even with JO (and possibly Will) out, a big EFF DIF padding win should happen tonight. The only question becomes by how much?

I'll say +29.

I take it your numbers assume full strength...  The other intangible is effort. I'm of the belief that the tech kids will compete & our kids will play just to get a comfy 10-15 point win.

That's possible. Even if we aren't full strength, I could see a Tech team that has lost 8 in a row and blew their best chance to win at WVU being just as likely to have a poor/average effort game as we are.

I bet we mess with line-ups in the 2nd half, so our margin of victory doesn't end up being what it should. K-State -17


Edit: Almost put -17.5 but then thought the .5 was a bit ridiculous since I was completely guessing. Then I saw steve dave's thread about the line. Should I move to Vegas now, or wait a few weeks?

Looks like Will will play. Hopefully DJamer or Diaz take advantage of the opportunity with JO gone tonight. Gip was pretty decent against Tech in Lubbock.

Diaz needs to step up or we will have big hole to fill.  I like DJamer and Gip fine, but at some point we will need height

True. Both Tolbert and Kravic had good offensive games against us down there, but we beat them badly on the boards. Plus, they had a weird TO% game; they average 22% in Big 12 play but only had 7%.

This.  We are due for a stinker and not having our best shot blocker (and tallest player) plus a solid defender in Will hampers us tonight.  I say its uncomfortably close at halftime.
