Why is new orleans even in the same sentence as Vegas?

I cant think of one positive quality in  N.O. The town absolutely smells, theres trash everywhere. Your chances of getting raped and murdered in the same night are significantly higher than Vegas. I know Vegas has its questionable areas but holy...
