i'm really not understanding how the glue traps aren't working. when i was in college we caught mice with those. also bats that were in our attic. big glue traps so they have to climb on it all four style to get the treat and then when they go to leave...oops. your stuck there dumbass until cf3 comes to pick you up and throw you in the garbage.

of the 5 i caught, 4 were on glue traps. I bet there's more around, but I have set MORE traps and have caught none in 3 days now, although one bastard did like a stupid old victor trap clean a couple days ago. I'll keep trying, but I don't think there are as many as I feared.

I stand by the fact, let me reiterate, FACT, that the first 5-6 episodes are really, really terrible.

don't use glue traps.  those are really cruel.  you can kill any rodent you feel you need to kill with a snap trap.  you should be ashamed of yourself.

I don't love the glue trap, but it gets the job done.

UPDATE: Mouse free for about 2 weeks now. I caught 7 total, and sealed off all possible entry points. At one time I had over 60 traps between the main part of the house and the basement which I would set and rotate and rebait daily.

you were really overthinking it, mice aren't that hard to catch.  what kind of mice did you have?

regular house mouse. I know they're not that hard to catch. I caught 6 in 2 days, and then 1 like 4 days later, then no more. But I wanted to be damn sure I got them all. I'm going to keep a few traps set always in the basement and behind the trash can in the kitchen and stuff forever. I hated knowing there were mice in my house so much. I hated it sys. I had to overreact.

they're just mice, cfor3.  cute, furry, really really small.  i had a rat in my house, imagine that.
