How far away are we from simple decay taking out the rest of the zombies?  A season or two and you gotta only be dealing with the very few who actually survived the first year and are newly dead.

It's a definite hole in the story line, they can't plug it though.  A regular dead body wouldn't even last a summer in Georgia.
Yeah but regular dead bodies don't walk. Also, what happens in winter? Frozen stiff?

Well these aren't just regular dead bodies now, are they? Being able to walk was addressed in Season 1 by that guy at the CDC.  There's just enough brain power when a person comes back as a walker to make their bodies able to move.  You know, because science.

The effect of cold weather on zombies was covered quite nicely in the World War Z universe but not in this one so far.  Maybe this will be addressed now that they are in an area that has real winter weather as opposed to what Georgia has.

Some of them show various stages of decomposition.  WWZ did cover it, at least the book did.

WWZ only mentioned that they freeze and ppl can kill them without incident like that.  What I am getting at is that at some point, you will have zombo jello, rather than workablke joints and flesh.

Agreed and they are seemingly showing them more decomposed at times. Never seen WWZ. Looks like the prequel LA walking dead should be out late summer. Hopefully is good

I wondered about the fake scientist too. Thought maybe he got taken out when I wasn't paying attention.

The thing with the horse, was the point supposed to be that when the humans tried to get close to it and domesticate it, it stopped running away so fast, so the next time the zombies came it didn't run away and instead became horsemeat? Meaning, this is what happens when you get soft Daryl?

When Sasha was out shooting picture frames at the start, did they show another guy walking around with a gun or did I imagine that? I think I imagined it. Was not motivated to rewind.

I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps, etc.

Eugene is in the trailer for the upcoming episode.  They've been expanding the cast for a while now without too many deaths, so now there are almost too many characters to follow.  It's at a point where they really need to thin it out some.

Odds for next Rick's group deaths:
Noah 3/2
Tara 2/1
Rosita 5/1
Sasha 15/1
Eugene 20/1
Maggie 30/1
Abraham 40/1
Glenn 40/1
Carol 80/1
Judith 99/1
Carl Nope
Rick Nope
Daryl Nope
Michonne Nope

The thing with the horse, was the point supposed to be that when the humans tried to get close to it and domesticate it, it stopped running away so fast, so the next time the zombies came it didn't run away and instead became horsemeat? Meaning, this is what happens when you get soft Daryl?

Supposed to show that the horse wouldn't accept safety when offered, and ended up getting killed for it.  The horse was the Ghost of the Future Daryl.

He should have.  First Gabriel says that crap, and now that other kid is going to lie about what happened on the run.  the Lady in charge already is wary about putting so many Rick ppl in charge, now that thing with her son and that Pos is going to lie about how it happened.  War time.

I'm getting pretty confident that someone is going to knock down the walls (since the supports are on the outside) and let the walkers in ruining the chance of the community as a long term option sending the crew on the run again.

The braces are on the outside, but the steel posts and horizontal rails are on the inside.  Those braces are just an easy way for someone to climb.

So for those of us who don't understand the whole bit, what happens if the braces are removed?

We would be getting too technical for a zombie show, but as long as the steel decking that is used as a facade is fastened to the steel structure, the answer is: a whole lot of nothing.

Yes, the theme of this one was "barf."  Do gross.

I hope they execute the dude who got the black kid killed.

I bet this guy is going to change the story on what happened during their run.  Between him, Pete (drunk wife beater), and the priest.....all events will lead up to a power struggle/civil war.

There will be a battle for the community, the community will be ruined, Rick's group will have to move on while losing a couple and gaining a couple
