I liked the camp set up in the skywalk where I guess everyone was murdered while they slept? Grim little things like that add character to the show.

maybe murdered, but then you think all their stuff would have been stolen. maybe carbon monoxided themselves to death with those coleman lanterns

I remember one of the sleeping bags had bloody holes in it, so it looks like he was stabbed or shot while in the bag.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I think Noah (is that his name) was trying to rescue beth. That's why he wanted the weapons and that's why ended up in the same stakeout spot

Agreed. From the previews, it looks like the rest of the group will join up and try to rescue Beth. It will be interesting to see if Noah survives the rescue mission or gets taken out. I'd guess he survives...he's kind of an interesting character.

Ok I stand corrected. That actually does make sense in a TWD kinda way.

I agree on the skywalk, someone put some thought into it and it worked very well.  It took a few moments to realize what it was/how it was.

I really think Carol should have looked both ways before crossing. The one car driving in that neighborhood... :curse:

Meh. This one was pretty poor. Lotta crap dialogue and little action. I guess we're getting the necessary "plot" points set up for next week.

I appreciate how Rick is 100% 'F this, let's kill people' and everyone else is 'let's make a deal' and then it is going to blow up in their faces again.

Yep, this is the last time Rick is going to help people -- his transformation into Shane is nearly complete.

The negotiation is going to get at least one of the group killed, probably Carol.

i have stayed away from this thread because i hadnt seen the episode until now.  couple of things, that priest is gonna be zombie brunch if he keeps running away and doesnt go back, backwoods seems like he is going to be fine, have you guys ever knelt down on concrete before? there is no rough ridin' way abraham would be able to kneel down like that all day long, there is just no way.  we all knew this and from knowing RD you just cant trust cops, period, that douchebag that made sasha hit her head is going to rough ridin' get it.

i am scared for the episode next week and who is going to die, from that article i think its gonna be both carol and beth, which is a shame because i like both their characters, if one had to live tho i would want carol cuz she was one of the originals.  like everyone has already said tho this episode was pretty shitty but it was necessary to get all the story lines built up for the mid season finale next week.

Wtf is going on with the priest

He was in the woods, away from the church, when we first met him. Now, he's back in the woods, despite his obvious inability to kill zombies. Something irresistable draws him into the woods...be interesting to see what it is.

It seems that they've started focusing more on Beth and less on Carol (short of the group making peace with her) so I assume Carol has to go.  Beth would surprise me.

I also think Carol is going to be the one who dies.  She has been through the emotional gauntlet in response to what has happened to her and what she has done herself.  Her peace might only be death.  I have a feeling she saves the group one final time by sacrificing herself.

Meh. More crappy attempts at dramatic dialogue and shitty character dev, followed by a showdown where - gasp - one of the characters nobody really cares about dies. Meanwhile, that neat new character Gabriel is just another flat boring characature - a little bitch as it turns out. The magic schoolbus/fire truck is back after a whopping two episodes? I mean, what is there to like about this?

That was a pretty good fall season finale.  Sad to see Beth go.  May her character RIP.

The producer/creator/writer guy mentioned on Talking Dead how the show is really going to pick up pace and go directions the show has never been.  Also hinted (if people have read the comics) that the show will probably start getting out of the Atlanta, Georgia region (finally!).

At the end, they showed a clip of Morgan following the tree marks and ending up at the church.  Very curious to see if he is trying to catch up to join them or if he is still crazy.  Also he seems to be the only one we know of that actually understands the tree markings meanings.

That was really odd.  The ~30 second trailer for the spring season ended, followed by 2 minutes of Morgan in the current season.  He found the school before the pastor because the doors were still shut, but found the church after they'd already left for the hospital.

Eventually he's got to catch up to the main group, right?

Also, surprised they killed off Beth, rather than Carol -- seemed like Carol's story was more or less done.

Also, the actress who played Beth was a mess on Talking Dead last night.  Lotta feels.
