Definitely not a bad idea. Russians started the trend of regular drivers installing dash cams because of the corruption with law enforcement, and they deal with poor roads and road conditions so accidents happen more often.

You mean like a hole in the ground? There isn't one hole in the ground, it blew up miles above the earth. There are reports of some 20-foot craters from where smaller peices of it his after it blew up. However, there is probably an area on the mountains where it knocked over a bunch of trees.

you're right it was. i did further reading though and they've found craters like the one 33 posted.
