Really hope that in between all the big stuff over at BSFS and hopefully Bramlage that they can do a nice spruce up and maybe add another 900-1000 permanent seats to the TFS/FMF

My priorities:
1) Video board.
2) Clean up/cut down raggedy trees in the outfield.
3) More permanent seats.
This is going to sound cheap tuck, but I wonder the feasibility of moving the old north end zone board to the ball diamond.  If we're actually moving that board, we might as well use it.  If we don't have the money to get baseball a new one, might as well repurpose.

The problem I see with cutting down trees (a its cutting down trees  :curse:) is that area is pretty scrubby in general.  It would take a lot more work then just cutting down this trees to make the outfield wall look better.

I see no need for more seating until there is more fan support throughout the entire season.  Attendance in the noncon is already brutal just because of the nature of the schedule and it being on the periphery of notice until later in the season.

Cut down the trees and build the Tallgrass Party Deck out there.

Another Goedert signs with KSU: http://goneosho.com/news/2013/11/18/BB_1118130047.aspx

Quote
Connor Goedert had a monster freshman year.  He hit .326 with 22 doubles and 11 home runs.  He was an All-Conference and All-Region selection as a freshman.  On Monday, he signed his National Letter of Intent to play baseball next year at Kansas State University.  Goedert follows in the footsteps of his dad Joe and his brother Jared who both played at Kansas State.  Goedert will join a Kansas State squad coming off one of their best years in recent history, going 45-19 and winning the Big 12 Conference Title with a 16-8 conference record.  Goedert will be expected to step in and produce right away for the Wildcats, as they try and continue their success.
Goedert said "It's a very exciting opportunity and I'm honored to be able to play where my entire family went to school."

You can buy the batter's boxes from last year.   Last I checked, the high bid was only $200 per box.

Ranked 28th preseason.  Thought they'd be higher honestly.  Was thinking 15-20.

Me too. How the eff are UT, OSU and even TCU ahead of us? That makes no sense to me, as we are the defending league champs and return our entire starting infield along with the Big 12 Freshman POY in Matthys. TCU and UT were pretty bad last year as well.

UT and TCU are just based on name brand/recognition.

That said, rankings in baseball usually make even less sense than in football or hoops.

Also, they may well have great classes coming in or had very young teams last year.
