Truly awful game for Fajardo - 4 walks and 2 hits in a 5-run first inning (45 pitches - 23 strikes and 22 balls). Just sacrifice this game and throw the guys who aren't going to help us tomorrow and hope for the best.

Was there a rain delay? Bc I checked the score like 2 hours ago and it was the 4th inning and now 2 hours later is the bottom of the 6th

SECTION 79. By conference rule, or mutual consent of both coaches before the contest, a game may be stopped only after seven innings if one team is ahead by at least 10 runs.

Each team must play an equal number of innings unless shortened because the home team needs none or only part of its half of the final inning.

I'm not a bat man, myself, so I don't watch much college action. But I did tune in when I saw that there was a close contest at the yard only to see three cats scramble towards a pop-up in shallow right and then stare at each other once no one made a play on the ball.

Up to No. 48 in the RPI even after getting demolished in two of three games against OSU. Win the series at home against No. 52 TCU this weekend and it should be enough for us to get in. Lose the series and we'll probably have work to do in the Big 12 tourney.

The Big 12 standings are crazy - we could potentially finish anywhere from 2nd to 7th depending on how things shake out this weekend.

Those last three innings were absolutely crazy. But, give us enough chances with the bases loaded and we'll eventually make you pay.

Pretty gut wrenching. Only thing that made it less shitty was, like, center fielder had it all the way. Got to his spot and was just waiting for the ball to come down. If he would have made a miracle catch then that would have sucked way harder
