Maybe, but our bats have got to start getting hot again. In back-to-back weekends, we faced the worst two pitching staffs in the league and scored a total of 14 runs against KU (they are giving up 10 per Big 12 game and allowed 30!!! in a single game to TCU this past weekend) and 16 against Baylor (they're giving up 7.5 per game). So, we coulda/shoulda scored 50-55 runs during these two series and we scored 30. 

Our pitching is wildly inconsistent, so the bats will need to return to form if we're going to make a run.

Fantastic series to end the regular season.

We score nine runs in the entire series against a team giving up 6+ runs per game in league play and we give up 35. We end conference play with one win on the road all season. Pathetic.

It's astouding that someone like Pete Hughes can be a D1 head coach for nearly 25 years with millions in earnings without ever winning a conference championship, posting losing conference records 60 percent of the time and averaging an NCAA berth once every 6+ years.

Kudos to him on his quarter century of grifting.

In other Bat Cat related news... Maryland's heartthrob Rob Vaughn won the Big Ten regular season and has the Terps ranked in the top 10 in the country entering the league tournament.

Known loser Pete Hughes is currently making/grifting K-State to the tune of $450k per year and known winner Rob Vaughn is currently making $225k per year. Dump the loser and bring Vaughn home.

Different stadium or did they update the one downtown?

We are playing in Globe Life this year and I think like the next 10. The Big 12 Tournament moved from Okc dodgers to a major league barn that looks like a costco off of I-35
