(nsfw, naked penis in video)

Quote
The man was identified by BART police as 24-year-old Yeiner Garizabalo. Friends said Tuesday he goes by Yeiner Perez and is a dedicated acrobat and performer. The episode, they said, was strongly out of character.
“He’s been through a lot of stress — he seems to have been having a breakdown,” said Slim Chance, who leads the Berkeley circus troupe ClownSnotBombs. Perez was a member from January to early May. “That seems to be the tip of it right there. I just can’t tell you anything more because I don’t really know what his state is. It’s not at all like his normal character.”
Chance said Perez, normally a “workaholic acrobat,” stopped showing up to the group’s practices several days before the episode.
“I don’t think it was anything with drugs,” Chance said. “I don’t know. We’re thinking he may have even had a stroke sometime last year. We’ve been trying to piece it together ourselves.”

Fired from his circus job. :frown:

ClownSnotBombs is a non-profit community circus troupe that believes joy and laughter are a fundamental human right. Our mission is to provide quality affordable entertainment and learning opportunities for all Bay Area communities. We are a company of eight multi-talented physical theater artists, acrobats, circus performers, and musicians and our work weaves dynamic physical theater with comedia and acrobatics into an extravaganza of wonder that tickles the funny bone.

ClownSnotBombs is currently working on an all new show: “A Spaghetti Western.” It’s a western themed comedy with a circus twist directed by Faeble Kievman. The show combines physical theater and clown technique with circus skills, acrobatics, dance and original music and has been created through an intensive five month development period.

Anti-gentrification block party with Google bus pinatas. (Google and several other tech companies have chartered buses that haul gentrifiers from SF down to silicon valley every day and are kind of a symbol of tech company backlash.)

Whining about people calling it "San Fran"
People on bikes carrying their dogs in a backpack after work

I've been to San Francisco several times and once while there referred to the city as "Frisco," which I had seen in the media somewhere. I thought the local to whom I was speaking was going to kill me. Since then, I never say "Frisco" in San Francisco.

Ha. I'm staying in a different neighborhood every 5-6 days while I'm in DC. Adams Morgan will be fun for this kind of thing, but I really can't wait for Noma.

Hadn't opened this thread before today.  Thinking none of you bros might want to come visit Brooklyn now...

I don't consider anything in this thread to be bad or a reason to not visit.

probably not too different, really. It's a very SF thing to think you're more unique than you really are.
