Going to San Fran tomorrow through Friday afternoon.  Conference gets out around 3pm most days and i figure i'll have at least 2 afternoons where i could get out and do whatever.  Any hot insidery tips on somethings i should make sure to check out?

I'm Staying at the Union Square Hilton, conference is there too.  Planning on getting around via Uber/BART, so i won't have a rental to do much of anything outside of downtown.

Additionally if you're a museum guy, check the schedule cause on some Thursday evenings some of the science museums and stuff have like adult night and they have booze and stuff. My schedule has never allowed going to one but it sounds fun.

precheck is fine, but if you don't have it and you are on United go to the international terminal security on the left (north) side, it's usually not as bad. If you take Bart exit to the front of the train and it's like right there.

I've flown a non-United domestic out of SFO flight like once and I think it was 3 years ago so no idea on terminal 1 or 2.

DFW wasn't bad at all yesterday, actually waited longer at MHK Monday morning.

yeah, i was reading online and I guess SFO uses private contractors not TSA so it should be better staffed.
