Re: Its officially official...

I put this loss on the students. Old people would have never let tonight happen, or maybe you didn't see how they led us to a victory over a top 10 team. Students are back to being banned.

Possible satire? Not sure.

That's all I got.  I think the FT disparity kept them from projecting much.  I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to see some old fashioned realism from the brood over there.  Had KU lost, the Phog meltdown would have been much more embarrassing by factors and factors of 10.

Iowa State lost by 7 in a game where they had the worst shooting performance in Fred's tenure... there really isn't much to complain about. Iowa State just had an off-night against a lower-ranked team.

The only reason Iowa State is ranked higher is because you guys played a weak non-con schedule.  KU wins by 20+ if the game is called evenly by the refs.

Before ISU started fouling late, the free throw and foul disparity were:

Fouls Called
KU - 25
ISU - 13

Foul Shots
KU - 11
ISU - 31

one thing is for certain, the refs never give ku a fair shake.

So true, I watch ku games and just smh and think to myself, "man, ku can just never get a break from the refs".  No wonder Seff gets T'd up regularly, for good reason.

This weblog gets quite a bit of traffic.

Question:  what's the worst you've ever coveted a single hoops 'cruit?

Perspective:  there is, at this precise moment, a 681 page thread on CF regarding Rashad Vaughn and his college decision, which is slated for this weekend  :sdeek:

Can I get a quick recap?

Rashad Vaughn chose UNLV over ISU, why does it have 12,000 replies?

discussing vaughn's twitter followers

Quote
I think he's lost about 5,000 followers actually. Wasn't he over 14,500 earlier? He's under 10,000 now.

Quote
No, he was at like 10,500 or something. Not that it really matters anyway. I'm still following.

Quote
Still, that's a lot of followers to lose in the matter of an hour, and the number goes down everytime you refresh it seems.

I'm really disgusted with the recruiting world, if Fred goes to the NBA in the next 5 years I might be done with college basketball.

Quote
I would investigate UNLV. Average coach. Average facilities. Average history and tradition (don't give me Tark, they were cheaters under him too). And now they have two 5-stars and a 4-star. At least deserves a look to see where the money came from on this.

Cheaters.
