He was still a really good QB and fun to watch throw it around the yard. I mean, Nebraska fans gave him a standing O.

May was a critical part of the DOD.  Can anyone really dispute that?  Serious question....

There is no dispute (if you are a REAL K-Stater).

I don't see how Meier over Webb makes any sense at all.

I went back and forth honestly. Probably if I went back I would choose Webb, but then I remember that Webb couldn't beat out Evridge.

His games against Nebraska and Missouri are enough for me to say he's better than Meier.

It's difficult to take any list seriously that doesn't include Kevin Lopina.

the interval after 8 (9 if you include what we think Sams will be) is huge.  I put Dyls at 10 due to this alone

I totally bought into the Lopina hype.  I thought he was going to be the next Matt Miller.

Beasley
Klein
Bishop
Roberson
Miller
May
Gregory
Freeman
Kav
Meier

*Not including current players.
** Tough on the top 4, nearly interchangeable. I've always thought Beasley was a bit under-appreciated.

Why Miller over May?  He was a vitally important QB, and paid dearly (spaghetti brained, T & P's, Matt!), but he only had one year.

Chad May was killin it in the spread 5 to 6 years before it became all the rage............had he been playing for OU or NE, with a slew of big timey weapons , he would have won that big stiff-arm trophy they give out........

He kicks dogs?  We used to call the traditional QB delay of game penalties the "Kavanaugh play".  Don't know if it was prevalent before then.

Anyway, Kavanaugh is now a rep for some medical company, fwiw.

I'd have to put Klein at the top. He didn't make big plays but he was pretty much always consistent and one of the toughest mofos to ever play the game. Bishop second, even though he turned it over about 4 times a game. Then Roberson for his interviews. It's pretty much a wash after that.

Yes he does.  He got arrested for it too along with Percell Gaskins and Nyle Wiren although it was common knowledge among all K-Staters that it was Kavanaugh who was the one who kicked and injured the dog.   He's a piece of crap.

Okay, that article came out prior to my K-State life began.  First I had heard of it.

It's Bishop and Roberson tied for 1st.  Don't even care about the rest.
