With Bill Self and the 'Hawks in a complete tailspin, he basically has zero competition.

We're going to win at KU. Mark it down.

Ford could make a push with @KU under his belt.  Not that it would happen, but would be hilarious for the 'cats to win the big 12 while getting swept by KU

I don't like oscar's fat chicken nuggets face, and I still think he will eventually fail spectacularly...but, I must admit that he has the team achieving at a higher level than I felt he would at the beginning of the year.

Swept by KU, co-champs, gE shirt with football title and last year's Stoops quote on the front, basketball title and this year's Stoops quote on the back.

The Mayor gets my vote.

The fact that ISU is the only upper half Big 12 team that has lost to Tech or TCU makes it tough for me, but the season is still young.

I would say its between oscar and Ford as we near the halfway point.

It is either self, oscar or the mayor.  And we haven't had our turn in lubbock just yet.

Italics for context, my intent was the same caution.

As for coaches, I don't care for him, but its hard for me to exclude Ford right now, or to put Hoiberg above him. Last year OSU was 15-18 and 7-11. This year they are 15-5 and 5-3.

As an OSU fan I don't care much for Ford either, but I am starting to tolerate him a little better after yesterday.

2011 - "In my eyes there will be only one," Stoops said. "I don't know of any other way to look at it."

2012 - “It’s whatever the conference rules are; that’s what you go by,” Stoops said."
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Its hard to argue with what he's done so far this year. It is weird that our 2 games against each other will be over 2 months apart.

He seems to be getting everyone to buy in except Nash, who is very inconsistent and at times seems detached.   Yesterday's offensive output was an outlier, especially by Markel Brown.
I think we match up better with KSU and most Big 12 teams when Nash plays the 4, but who knows which Nash will decide to show up.

Self is going to be penalized for the expectations on his team, it is what it is Beems.  He has to be 2 games clear of the pack by the end of the year to have a shot at Big12 CoTY (which he might be).  Anybody within a game will be considered overperforming and their coach will win it.
