So Lon Sooners; OU ADV

GRINDER!

Angel was huge. Will and Tay stepped up. Some nice minutes mixed in by JO and Gip. On a day when Gruds and Shane were off, Cats manage a huge road win. K-State's ability to turn OU over was the difference.

I'll take it.

no/pedestrian stats, but art completely controlled the game when he was in.  a treat to watch.

how often has a goose egg gone up in the 1st half for FT attempts?  Wasn't our 0 ft attempt against Texas in the 2nd half the first time that happened in the Big 12?

Bruceketball. (if we win I don't mind.)

We are a jump shooting team. But with enough Gip dumps built in.

Like to know +- rebounding margin when Nino is in the game. He's just not a power forward. A poor man's Sutton, really.

_fan... Question: does oscar's motion offense allow whoever is having the hot hand that game to get shots? Hence, we still being able to win on night Rod and Shane are cold.

I thought OU would have a higher FTr.
Also the transition d continues to be miserable.

This question is kinda hard to answer like you have it, I'll say no. You're looking for iso plays I think

Rebounding was much better in the 2nd half. We got our hands on a lot balls just couldn't bring corral them.

Ou started out 59 eFG%, 1.31ppp. They were up 17-16

Rest of the game---- 36.9 Fg%, .72ppp, 23.9 TO%
33pts, 46 poss, over 31 minutes

He's called set plays for players plenty of times. They usually just involve running through a lot of screens for a jump shot.

Tay was big in 1st half with his scoring.
How bout Will's tip in.  LOL. Big 2 Pts.

Transition D still an issue, but halfcourt D was unreal. Did Pledger even play? He was invisible.

Weird stats...

2nd chance, Cats 13-9.
Pts off TOs, OU 17-8.
Fast break pts, Cats 6-4.

Points off of turnovers is pretty weird, but then I remember that our transition D is . Still a weird stat though.

can someone explain our transition D?  is it just as simple as long jump shots = long rebounds = easier run outs?

Bruces offense struggles to get looks for players that can't shoot very well.
